First of all, good morning and HAPPY Tuesday! I had plans to workout with a friend this morning and as soon as my alarm went off at 8am my body’s first instinct was to sleep in with the cloudy rainy weather we’ve been having lately. The best time to workout is when you don’t want to (sickness is another matter), because mentally you’re shutting down to the idea of doing anything even though your body is fully capable of doing so. Train your mind to push through in situations that require more mental strength than actual physical strength because you’ll be amazed at what you are capable of! Back to today, I went to the gym and worked on back and biceps with Carlos aka Charles and after I left ended up completing a 15 minute cardio session and an intense core workout at home (keep in mind this was the same girl who had no motivation or energy to get up this morning)! I can honestly say it feels amazing to push through things and completing them even when you mentally aren’t wanting to. I challenge you to find something in your day that you’re having a mental roadblock towards doing and pushing through it! Work those mental muscles and make them stronger because they’re just as important as our body’s physical muscles 💪🏼☀️
